Mount Arthur

Mt Arthur and the surrounding ranges are massive marble mountains, riddled with some of the deepest and most spectacular caves in Australasia if not the southern hemisphere. There is a cave up here known as Blizzard pot, but more commonly known as ?the nettlebed system? It is one of the deepest through trip caves in the world. This is a 24 hr dry caving trip from blizzard pot to nettlebed covering approx 800 mtrs vertically. H.H cave which has just had a recent push to approx 720mtrs vertically.(through an eighty mtr long sump at 650mtrs)

This cave has been extensively sureyed and puts it approx 300mtrs horizontally & 180mtrs vertically from the mouth of the Pearse resurgence.
