H C Piggot

H C Piggot was a steel hopper. Type : Screw steamer , length 48.8m , weighing 300 tons . Built in Scotland in 1911 and registered in Melbourne 1912. Owner: Melbourne Harbour Trust Commissioners. Scuttled in the Ships Graveyard #3 on October 14th 1935 Now rests upright in 47m on a sandy seafloor.

HMAS Bayonet

BAYONET was to be scuttled for recreational diving in 30 metres of water outside Port Phillip Heads. However, a last minute decision by the Navy saw this plan abandoned for her disposal in deep water. Defence Maritime Services (DMS) staff scuttled the vessel on 21st September 1999.
